Peter Giallorenzo,
Chief Executive Officer
Before joining HCPlexus in February 2011, Peter spent 20 years successfully executing the CFO/COO role for several emerging growth, generic drug and consumer products manufacturers (sales in the range of $10 million to $500 million). Most recently, Peter played a significant role in the turnaround and then sale of Interpharm, Inc., a publicly traded, generic pharmaceutical manufacturer.
Peter has focused on enhancing cash generation and margin improvement, bringing systems and best practices to entrepreneurial companies in the growth mode, and providing “hands on” managerial leadership in functional areas that cut across strategic planning, operations and finance. In addition, Peter has extensive experience in negotiating and closing senior and mezzanine debt transactions, and in executing the liaison role between senior management and his organizations’ private equity investors.
Previously, Peter spent several years in the audit practice of Arthur Andersen & Co., earned his CPA certification, and then joined American Home Products Corp. where Peter successfully executed internal audit and divisional comptroller roles.
Peter received his BBA degree in Accounting (magna cum laude) from Iona College (New Rochelle, NY).
Tracy Furrier,
VP, Customer Affinity
Before joining HCPlexus, Tracy spent over 20 years as a results driven direct response marketer. Most recently Tracy was VP of Marketing at Webloyalty.com where she drove member acquisition strategy and creative testing across over 100 e-commerce websites, generating consistent double digit increases in response rates.
Prior to that Tracy was VP of Marketing for Synapse Group. She began her 9-year run as General Manager of the Miles for Magazines direct mail business, which nearly doubled in size and produced significant profit margin growth under her leadership. Her responsibilities went on to include the flagship instatement and direct mail affinity marketing business with significant volumes of direct to consumer media distributed annually. Additionally, Tracy assumed the role of Creative Director leading the in-house creative agency. Earlier in her career Tracy was a subscription marketer and director for several consumer brands including Consumer Reports, Hearst Magazines and Ladies Home Journal.
Tracy received her BS in Business Administration from Northeastern University.
Robert M. Kernen,
VP, Product
Before joining HCPlexus, Bob Kernen spent over 20 years being a thought leader and innovator in digital and traditional media. As Associate Vice President - Product for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Bob oversaw daily production of a website generating 35 million monthly page views and created the product roadmap for all of the company's interactive products.
Prior to that, Bob spent 5 years at A&E Television Networks, most recently as Director-Advanced Television and Emerging Platforms where he created a number of interactive TV programs and implemented the company's broadband content management system, oversaw all product and business development around emerging media platforms, and managed all premium websites. Previously, Bob worked within multimedia development at Women.com Networks (Director, Broadband & Multimedia) and WebTV Networks (Producer). Bob is a seasoned entrepreneur and startup specialist, having founded the digital music company GrokMusic.com and created SEO and taxonomies for content businesses like The Money Pit and Maven Networks. He is also an aspiring Jeopardy! contestant and an Emmy Award-winning writer and published author.
Bob has a BA in Cinema-Television from the University of Southern California.
Nicole Minore,
VP, Marketing
Before joining HCPlexus, Nicole Minore spent 14+ years building a non-traditional career in advertising agencies and marketing consultation. Most recently, Nicole was an independent marketing and business development consultant, leveraging her experience with Fortune 500s to start-ups, regional and national businesses, product launches and re-launches, traditional advertising channels, direct marketing, and all forms of digital.
Prior to that, Nicole managed a wide range of digital business solutions for clients at Beeby Clark + Meyler. At TBWA\Chiat\Day New York, Nicole oversaw the communications developed for a series of brands as a Group Account Director, including pharmaceutical, financial, and telecom brands. As a founding partner of Strategy Department, she developed integrated marketing strategies and business plans for clients in addition to managing business concept research and communications analyses.
Early in her career, after learning the ropes on fast food, retail and broadcast at MVBMS/EURO RSCG, she was a member of the team that helped develop and launch the business model for Hallmark Flowers – a project ultimately turned into a Harvard Business Case Study.
Nicole holds a BA in English from Fairfield University, with a dual concentration in Writing and Literature.
Kerry Robinson,
VP, Sales & Business Development
Before joining HCPlexus, M. Kerry Robinson spent over 21 years in the market, entering the healthcare space through the Publishers Training Program at Medical Economics Company in 1989. Most recently, Kerry was Director of Digital Sales and New Business Development at Advanstar Healthcare Group, where Kerry was instrumental in the launch and growth of the clinician-focused website www.modernmedicine.com.
Prior to that, Kerry served as Group Publisher of Advanstar's Primary Care Group, and was a leader in initiating the use of ICD coding to target clinicians by diagnostic behavior as a compliance tool for both CME and promotion. With extensive sales and sales management experience in traditional publishing and custom project development, Kerry has held leadership positions at MediMedia's Oncology Group (Publisher) and AlphaMedica (VP Business Development). Kerry was part of the launch team for Clinical Communications Group (later Ventiv Health) where he helped grow the company from 7 to 235 employees and generated team revenue of over $ 50 million in 6 years. Interestingly, Kerry serving as a sales rep for The Little Blue Book in 1993.
Kerry holds a Bachelor of Science from Northeastern University, and completed the Executive Pharmaceutical Program at Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business.
